July 8:The fishing is great out of Holland right now.We are getting some big kings,and there are alot of Lake trout between Holland and Saugatuck in 130 fow .We are running Silver streag mg metlic green frogs on our 12 colors and lemonberry on our 10 colors big white paddles and mt dew spindoctors  on the rest.

 

 

July 3:The fishing is great out of Holland right now we are getting big kings and 10-15 fish per trip is the norm right now so get out and go there are fish from Port Sheldon ,Holland ,all the way down to Saugatuck.120-150 fow has been real good.

 

July 1:Fishing is realy good out of holland this week we are getting kings into the upper teens as well as some nice steelhead and lake trout.we are running mag silver streaks in the 55-65 foot down range and flashers and flies near the bottom.

 

June 28:Fishing is still good out of Holland .We have been fishing between Holland and Saugatuck in 90-150 fow.Try fishing spoons up higher for the steelhead and run flasher and flies on the coppers and wire divers.

 June 20:The fishing in Holland is starting to fire up .We are fishing in 80-120 fow between Holland and Saugatuck right now.The salmon  are nice sized and there are also some steelhead and lake trout around also.The best baits today were the green metalic glow frog on the cores,pink panties on the divers,and on the riggers the green dolphin and the white paddle were good.

June 12:The fishing in Holland has picked up this week.There are fish in 80-100 fow between Holland and Saugatuck and another group of fish in 150-170 fow.Try mag silver streak green dolphins on riggers 60 down and super screw on 10 colors and orange chilly willys on five colors.

May 16:The fishing is great out of Holland right now.We have been getting fish up to 15#s.The best depth for us this weekend was 115-135 Fow.The down riggers were are best rods this weekend with Green Snow Cone Silver Streak Mag set 73 down took the bigger fish and the white paddle and pickled sunshine down 105 took the most fish.The cores and divers worked well also the best core was a 15 color with Black Fin Tuna Mag Silver Streak ,and the best diver bait was a NK silver green glow reg set on 3 back 145.If you can get out Holland will only be getting better in the next few weeks.

May 9:The fish have showed up and the fishing will only get better over the next few week out of Holland.Today the best baits were super screw mini on a 3 color,u of m frogie mag on 10 color,blue and green dolphins on the the riggers set 40-55 down,and the white 11 inch paddle down 101.The best sog today was 2.7.

May 2:Took a short trip out to 130-150 fow and found a few fish out there and some bait.We were south of Holland and almost to Saugatuck when we quit.Today the best baits were the white paddle down 95 ,vegie delite uv mag on a diver margarita mini on the other diver and a silver orange uv mag silver streak on core.The fish are there and should to start to turn on in a couple of days if we get stable weather.

April 30:There are a few kings starting to show up around Holland now.Try fishing 40-60 fow south of Holland to just north of Saugatuck.The best baits have been orange killer and orange chilly willy mag Sliver Streaks on 10 colors of lead and on divers.If the weather improves the fishing will pick up in a hurry.

April 11: Fishing has slowed down this weekend due to the storms from earlier this week.The water is very dirty we did find some clean water out in 80 to 100 foot temp was 43 on the surface we used silver streak minis and body baits the best bait was the super screw mini just like it was in Oct.

April 9: We are in the water and will be takeing our first trip of the year on April 11. The fishing is good for coho down in St Joe.Our lake Erie boat is getting limits of walleye while jigging for them off the reefs in Port Clinton.

March 27:Only a week and a half and we will be in the water and start our season.The fishing in the southern end of the lake is starting to pick up try 20 fow running boards with thin fins,rapalas,bommers,and silver streak minis and jr's.

March 6:The weather is warming up and this should start to push some steelhead up the rivers. We are getting the boat ready and should be in the water by the first of April to start Brown Trout fishing.


 

Oct.17: Fishing is really good for steelhead out there right now.We caught fish for 50-90 fow all on Silver Streak mini spoons on riggers 3 colors and divers.We took steelhead up to 14 pounds to day. We have one more week of fishing left out there.

 

Sept.26:Fishing for 3 year old kings was great this week.We fished from 80-18-fow.Riggers down 75-90 and 15 colors,450 coppers were all good .

 

Sept.19:The offshore fishing is still very good. We used silver streak minis on 3 colors in the mixed veggie and super screw,mag streaks on our riggers divers and the cores and coppers.(green muffin purple glow tiger and veggie tails)

 

Sept 12:Fishing is still good out of Holland MI right now.We have been fishing between 80 and 120 fow.3 colors and 5 colors of lead have been takeing steelhead with mixed veggie mini streaks on the 3s and mag orange chilly willies on the 5s,toxic rain mag has been great on the 200,300,and divers.There are steelhead up kings in the middle range and lake trout on the bottom.The fishing will only get better for steelhead and 2 and 3 year olds out there from here on out through Oct.

 

Sept.6:Fishing is good for 80 feet-220 feet right now.We have been fishing the the top 50 fow.The best bait have been mixed veggie mini streak on a 3 color ,green muffin mag on a 12 color ,sister sludge on a 10 color.the riggers are going with white spin doctors and noseeum flys.We have been getting good numbers of steelhead,coho's,and lake trout up high.On the 5 colors we were running orange chilly willy mags and purple spoons.

 

August 24:Fishing is great right now.The fish are between 80-120 fow.The riggers are good with spinnies and flies,divers with the same,and cores with plugs are the ticket right now get out on the water now because the fish are there.

 

August 19:The fishing remains great right now we are catching some big Kings and Coho salmon right now.We have been fishing from Holland to Saugatuck in 60 -140 fow.On the down riggers we have been pulling mag Silver Streak spoons stacked with mini streaks in the colors of wonder bread glow and green dolphins.We have been running Popeye plugs on our cores.On the divers we have been pulling white spin doctors.and on the coppers we have been running chrome spin doctors with green flies.

August 15:Fishing is great right now.We have had good fishing in the mornings and the evening bite has been great this week.There are fish from 60feet to 150feet.Are best baits the last two days have been Silver Streak Mag wonder bread glow on a outdown and green dol mag on the other.On the divers the crome blue spin doctor with blue bubble fly has been good the big white paddle with green fly is still takeing salmon and trout down deep.On the cores we have been pulling Popeye glow plugs.

 

August 13:Fishing is heating up right now the fish are big and there are alot of them.

the fish are any where from 60-140 fow. Try run glow plugs on your full cores,blue glow spoons,and white and green spinnines on divers.The wonder bread glow mag silver streak has been good 60 down on a rigger and the 11in white paddle is still working down deep.
